I tell Ryan about my idea. I’ve been inspired by Graphite since my time at Shopify. I really liked their product and I felt like there was something I could build to make it better. It started off as a PR editor with some extra features like Cursor, which was what I wanted to show Ryan at first since context explaining was such a big deal at any company I worked at.
Ryan and I start working on v1 of Pencil. This is the PR editor idea we have initially.
