Worked at Mozilla, LOVE the team, culture and work!

I worked as a software engineer intern on the Firefox Desktop QA team.

I’m learning a lot about CI (integrations with GCP, test infrastructure, VMs and monitoring) with a dash of automation :)

My intern project this time is focused around monitoring infrastructure; building out integrations between our CI environment and GCP, channels of communication for receiving reports about cron jobs.

From Mozilla, I learned the importance of simplicity in design and solutions. Although it’s tempting to implement a highly complex and advanced system with many many bells and whistles, sometimes the best decision is to keep it simple and elegant. Those are the best solutions.

Additionally, I realized the value of an amazing team and manager! They constantly uplift me and motivate me to work my hardest to push the project forward. They encourage me to take initiative and step into leadership roles even as an intern. It is really a breath of fresh air!
